| Chat GPT picks the following: Starting 13 (Grind Early, Expand Later)
Lachie Miller – Creative fullback, safe under pressure.
Ash Handley – Hard worker, reliable yardage winger.
Kallum Watkins – Strong defensive centre with leadership.
Harry Newman – Strike threat, aggressive edge runner.
Ryan Hall – Set-start machine and safe defensively.
Brodie Croft – X-factor playmaker, central to attacking shifts.
Jack Sinfield – Composed organiser, good kicking control for first-half grind.
Mikolaj Oledzki – Tough carries, sets the tone early.
Jarrod O’Connor – Defensive anchor, sets a fast ruck tempo.
Tom Holroyd – Brings edge and physicality to match Hull’s middles.
James Bentley – Enforcer with aggression, ideal for setting intensity.
James McDonnell – High work rate, dependable edge defence.
Cameron Smith (c) – Ball-player in the middle, links with halves and spine.
Interchange Bench (Designed for Second-Half Tempo Shift)
Sam Lisone – Impact prop, brings energy and offloads vs tired D.
Jake Connor – Game-breaker; can slot into fullback, centre, or halves.
Morgan Gannon – Mobile forward, capable of pushing tempo or shoring up edge/middle.
Keenan Palasia – Adds late-game punch and line-speed with fresh legs.
Tactical Notes with Sinfield:
First half: Let Sinfield control field position with tactical kicks. Smith helps link play to edges. Croft picks his moments to run.
Second half: Bring on Connor to inject unpredictability — he can either slot in at 1, pushing Miller to a wing, or into the halves with Croft shifting to a more free-running role and Sinfield coming off if needed.
Late in the game: Gannon and Lisone can help push offloads and tempo against a gassed Hull middle.
I had to make it swap out Frawley for Sinfield, otherwise GPT 1st pick was Frawley

Jake Connor given a one point penalty warning shot across the bows, FC fans will be up in arms.....
Anyone know what point in the game this incident was? The attempted 'headbutt' Yes, what point in the game was it?

Before the season started it was clear that we needed a top line kicker. We're not scoring enough to have the luxury of going up in 4's for any length of time. 6's creates so much more scoreboard pressure - Wakefield yesterday being one very recent example. Said it earlier in this thread pal.Why is Miller kicking the goals and not Connor who I did say wasn`t brilliant but better than Miller imo. Only other alternative is to play Sinfield at hooker. I also said some time ago that maybe Croft replacing Newman and Sinfield/Connor at HB but maybe that`s pushing it too far. Agree with Connor vs Miller and not at all sure why the change. Wouldn't disagree with Sinfield suggestion. The lack of goal kicking consistency will cost us down the line.

| Didn't Asiata throw a punch right at the end. Seems to have gotten away with that in the match review panel too

| Couldn't get to the game but watched it on Sky, agree with a lot of the comments on here. Can't understand the negativity Croft gets.. it's almost 'fashinable' to criticise him.. he's just come back from injury for goodness sake... ridiculous. Newman needs to shape up or we need to get rid.. it's a difficult one though as he's home grown..
We need a better 9 to take us to the next level and a goal kicker. Also Watkins is levels above Smith... show's us what a top class player is and what we've been missing in the back row.. he's miles better than Smith at 13 and he can still play centre at a good level.
A big win.
