Bit surprised at some of the comments on Danny Walker. In my eyes, his distribution is far better than Clark’s who can be slow and ponderous in his passing. Am sure he will go well at Saints but we have had the best of him expect Walker to push on especially after his England debut.

The King extension is an interesting one in that it will likely be nothing near what he was previously on. And I never read or seen anything about any other club being interested in him knowing he was in final season of this contract.

Maybe with King we have offered quite a lucrative contract to reflect the short term nature. It doesn't matter as his cap value is low at £50K and we're not paying his wages. 


Or maybe Sam is being careful not to make significant signings for the seasons he won't be our coach.
