| With the way our players continuously show a lack of effort and willingness to roll their sleeves up for the shirt/club what is your thoughts on these players we have at our disposal? i'm going to mark them out of 10 based on my own opinion of their talent and effort and whether i would keep them in the squad moving forward (hypothetical as we cant just get rid of contracted players)
1 Jacob Gagai = 7, looking better since moving to the wing but defensively shows positioning weakness and doesn't always appear to want to put his body on the line, Keep
2 Adam Swift = 6, Another injury prone, important member of the squad, poor in defence and is often wrongfooted before getting near his opponent, the way we play he doesn't have the chance to use his speed anymore, Keep.
3 Jake Bibby = 4, Awful under the high ball, awful in general catching, decent in defence though but offers nothing going forward, Leave.
4 Liam Sutcliffe = 5, Another biscuit signing, signed for utility value and not much else, Leave.
5 Sam Halsall = 6, not quite kicked on as thought, neither a winger or a centre so hard to decide on him, doesn't look strong enough in contract, Leave
6 Tui Lolohea = 7, Mr Marmite, he's good or he's poor there's no in between, great to watch when his head is on but drops like a stone when he's on a bad day, Leave
7 Adam Clune 6 = Biscuit, 2 games, usually good then injured, can be a class act and important but we need him on the field and we don't get it, Leave
8 Oliver Wilson = 8 Our best forward by a mile, constantly makes metres but has a tendency to chuck silly offloads, we need to build a pack around him, Keep.
9 Zac Woolford = 7, i like him but he's probably too smart for hs teammates who look bewlidered to see him running, usually on hims own cos the rest cant be d to follow, give him the right players and he will be great, Keep.
10 Tom Burgess = 6, Defensively he's sound and is a leader, offensively not too bad but could do with making a few more metres, this seasons scapegoat, Keep.
12 Sam Hewitt = 6 Decent but unlikely to improve now, defensively sound, offensively ok, a good player to have in the squad without being spectacular, Leave
13 Harry Rushton = 6, Very similar to Hewitt, steady away but not really improved much since his breakthrough year, too many players of his ilk, i'd give him another year to see if he can kick on, Keep
14 Ashton Golding = 6, Happy lad, very cheery, plays loads of positions but is nothing more than decent in all of them, a utility player who wouldn't be in my team, Leave
15 Matty English = 6, another forward who seems to have stalled, still a good player but needs to be more aggresive in attack and defense, Keep
16 George King = 6, Makes an initial impact when comes on but then fades, nothing spectatular, like most of our forwards, Keep.
17 Joe Greenwood = 7, one who does show effort, always looks like making metres after contact and is defensively sound if not spectatular, Keep
18 Fenton Rogers = 7, another hugely talented youngster who seems to play 2nd fiddle to more senior players, has the potential to be a weapon for us, bloody use him!!!!! Keep.
20 Elliot Wallis =3, poor player who sulks when he makes a mistake, ofers very little, Leave . 21 Leroy Cudjoe = 8, Mr consistency again, never shirks but age is catching up with him, we can't rely on him to pull us around at his age, will always give 100%, Keep (until we offer him a coaching role)
24 Aidan McGowan = 7, young and talented so naturally he doesn't get picked, never let us down and needs to be a 1st team regular, how he isn't is baffling, Keep
25 Jack Billington = 6, been solid on his rare appearances, would like to see him get more time, has promise and will put the effort in, Keep
27 Kieran Rush = 4, has had a few chances now and doesn't look like he'll ever standout for me, not reall ysure what his game is, Leave
28 Connor Carr = 5, will only improve with game time and experience, another who is stuck behind the 'we must play them' brigade, Keep
29 George Flanagan = 8, the most exciting player we have, error prone at the moment but that will get better with experience, our whole team should be built around this kid, a must keep, Keep
30 Jack Bibby = 6, not let us down but highly unlikely to force his way in if he hasn't done so yet, Leave
34 Taane Milne = 6, error prone but has got some power, shows glimpses of class and i would imagine needs some confidence in him, Keep
Tristan Powell = 6, Nothing spectacular yet but i don't expect it so soon, solid and defensively good, Keep
Niall Evalds = 4, we know he's a good player but 2 halves and then injured is not what we wanted, unlucky i suppose but can we afford to carry him if he's going to continue like this? Leave
Matt Frawley = 5, Has experience and the fact he covers for the other half backs he adds some value but i wouldn't want him as a 1st choice, if we keep him he has to be back up only, Keep.
What i'd like to see for next year: A solid, controlling half-back who can lead the team around the park. A big, polynesian, wrecking ball forward A powerful, fast centre who will use his winger
We have a squad with too many like-for-like players who are neither going to improve or are getting worse. Not enough pace Not enough power in our forwards Not fit enough Not mentally strong enough to deal with adversity Not enough backing up the player with the ball, although when we do we tend to throw silly offloads No leaders on the field or when we concede, everyone stood with hands on hips Too many players who sulk when they make a mistake Nowhere near enough resiliance to make an impact in the game or pull momentum back.
According to Robbo, proper dillegence will be done on new signings medical history now rather than just taking people's word for it, though time will tell on that.

| Well done for posting this. 200 mile trip for the embarrassing display last night. It's almost the first time Robbo apologised to the fans, that should have happened much earlier. If we are close to the cap, then I despair for next season. I'd like to add keep and leave to a number of players. 1. Robbo - leave, not good enough, too many excuses, poor injury management under his leadership, game plan often terribly basic and fails to challenge other teams
2. Keep - Gagai, Milne, Halsall, Clune (only if he plays), Flanagan (future star), Wilson, Woolford (not quite the hooker I hoped for), King, Hewitt, Leroy, Rushton, Swift (misses too many games still), Powell,
3. Leave - Golding (what does he offer apart from enthusiasm, master of nothing), Sutcliffe (injury prone?), Lolohea (too inconsistent), Burgess (how much are we paying him and for what?), English, Rush (offers so little), Wallis, MacGowan (too small),
4. Give a chance to - Evalds? Greenwood (misses too many games), Bibby, Rogers (way too slow), Carr, Billington
We need, a new 6, huge prop, 2 big explosive backrowers ( Taai, Jason Chan, MacQueen, Faalogo) we've had them. Another hooker with pace and power, another fast, powerful centre. Not much to ask.
And an experienced coach with decent medical team.
Injury mismanagement this year has been appalling - can anyone explain how Evalds lasts 5 minutes on his return, and then lost again for a long period. Shambolic.
