| Lots on the Rhinos fans site regarding Hardaker, Watkins and Hall. With both Sarge and Josh leaving and Rads currently in Austrailia looking for a winger do you think Mr Lenegan will put his hand in his pocket and look to pair Watkins and Joe Burgess at the Warriors next season. I think we are just a world class centre/winger partnership from taking over Superleague for the next five years, it is no coincidence that the clubs currently being courted as Grand Final winners Hull, Catalan and Warrington have invested in quality players? I love to watch Wigan born players in the side but they need to be suplimented by real quality and experience so Ian please exploit the situation at Headingley and steal their jewel and bring him to the DW for 16/17.

I watched James Graham's podcast on the sort of squad Perth Bears could build and couldn't help but laugh at his list of English based players they should target-They were Bevan French, Harry Smith, Luke Thompson and Junior Nsemba. It's almost as though he'd like to see this Wigan team broken up! Funnily enough there was no mention of Jack Welsby, Harry Robertson or Matty Lees or guys from other clubs like Mikey Lewis, Matty Ashton or George Williams.
Amazes me how Wardle always manages to stay off these lists, he has all the attributes that suggest he would smash it in the NRL. More than happy for him to keep getting overlooked though, sure a good performance in the Ashes series would change all that. The fact that he has missed the last 2 series by Injury has probably kept him off the radar somewhat up to now. I haven’t heard it from the horses mouth but it was mentioned on here when we signed him how great it was as he has no urge to go to the NRL, obviously things can change and if Wigan can’t or won’t match a big financial offer from Oz that could sway him, I would say that the standard of NRL centres is a different level to here but they gave Gildart a go who was never at this level but he did have a blinder against the Ozzies from memory similar to Sarginson who got a shot.

From a Wigan perspective he's signed until the end of the 2029 season, so it would take a good offer for him to go. In his recent interview he seems happy at Wigan, and there is no doubt from our perspective he is a class centre and we are better for having him. IMO he's the best centre since we had George Carmont, who came without a big reputation but was class for us

| I've no concerns of Wardle going anytime soon I don't think. The only one I would have real concerns over would be French because even with new contracts for him, I think the club would let him leave if he asked them to and if I'm recruiting for Perth and I think I can get a player like French to play 6, while also being able to cover fullback and wing, I'd be thinking it's a no brainer. Hopefully the total disregard they have for players doing anything in Superleague will keep them away.

Need a second rower. Does anyone know if that maximum minutes in a season rule for young players came into affect because if it did Nsemba is well on the way to busting it. We seem to have gone from producing back rowers by the dozen to relying on Farrell and Nsemba not picking up a knock, hopefully when Havard is back we can afford to shift Walters back and we can start rotating the three of them.
Just read an article on one of the RL Facebook pages were Willie Peters said he didn't know if the max minute rule was in effect, no official communication on the subject but if it was it was still early enough in the season for it not to be a major issue, absolutely mental if the club's haven't been officially informed one way or the other.

Yet totally unsurprising! They weren't informed of the final sign off on the disciplinary process until after the season had started. There have been grumbles about the leadership of the game for as long as I can remember but it's never been worse than it is currently IMO. It really does feel like peoples are in positions at the RFL to simply get a wage, without any intention of earning it.
