| Am thinking we have a good chance in this game, I know saints have a few players back in their team playing such as Roby but we are playing well at the minute and confidence is high! A win would see us 3 points infront of them and put us in with a very good chance of a decent spot in the playoffs. Will also be my first visit to langtree park. Rovers by 10

| Me neither, Graeme Horne is a new injury, I reckon burns will miss out and Gleeson hasn't been training due to sickness so will probably miss out or play crap!

| The OP mentions Roby as the threat but having watched SL highlights on the SL website Lomax was involved in almost every try they scored, IMO he will be the main danger. The loanee off-half from Warrington O'Brien has also been going well.
Considering Coatsy's post then it poses a real dilemma for CS IF both Travis and Horne are out, along with Gleeson. Craig Hall can cover for Travis but it then poses the question who will cover the centre spots?
Liam Salter is a given but with Hall at 6 (the other choice at centre) does CS give Chris Heil another chance? Or even play Paterson at centre, he covered there for the Knights and I think the Cowboys.
Or, with the return of Withers CS has the option of playing him at 6 thus allowing Hall to cover at centre.
Personally, I don't think Withers works at 6 and would rather see Hall there, but this all might be pure conjecture if Travis does recover from his bruised shoulder. IMO the side would miss his raw energy, something that will be needed to match the return of Lomax for Saints.
If Travis recovers then I support the OPs prediction.

I think they will be more concerned than rovers to be honest, although 2 wins albeit against woeful bradford and salford will help their confidence the fact is they have lost 7 0f their last 10 including defeats to kr,widnes and even london.

They have but they are getting key personnel back at the right time. Lomax, Roby and Manu are key for them along with O'Brien hitting some form will make it a tough encounter. I'd overlook the previous defeats as with most teams (except Wigan!!) injuries will take there toll.
I expect Saints to have a good run from now til season end and make an impact in the play offs.

| The reason why Roby is so important to Saints is because he single-handedly generates their go-forward which enables their overrated youngsters to appear vastly better than what they actually are - because they are on the front foot all the time.
Lomax is a threat and they have some decent forwards but if Rovers manage to control the ruck without conceding penalties then it will go some way to winning the game.
If all the players were fit (Burns in particular) then I'd fancy us to turn Saints over but with Burns carrying a bad shoulder and other problems such as Horne's dislocated finger and Withers' groin, I think we may have some problems with our rotation.
Tough game to call which could go either way.

| I can definitely see reasons to be optimistic for Friday what with the contrasting form of the two sides but I don't think we will win this one.
With Travis belted up like the Michelin man after Saturday's game and the other doubts I think we will just come up short.
That said, though, Saints tend to start games poorly and the home crowd will be very conscious of the fact that this is getting towards being a must win for Saints so if we can start well and get some runs on the board early, we might just carry it off.
I like Langtree Park, when they get it fully cladded it will probably be my favourite ground in the league.
