It's a pity it will have been missed by plenty and any none RL followers that might have casually tuned in on a more mainstream TV channel, say the Beeb whilst they were eating their cornflakes

from start to finish, it was amazing, it wasn't the shot fest i think we were all expecting,and maybe samoa weren't as good as i'd hoped but tonga were fantastic.

That was the best international rugby league game I’ve ever seen (in the words of Stevo) it’s as simple as that.

The passion, the culture, the noise, the colour, the woman in traditional dress singing as the players came into the pitch, the anthems, the war dances!!, face to face that made my hairs stand on end...and the game didn’t disappoint.

Samoa weren’t particularly great but put in a good effort and hung in there as Tonga were immense and have some very very good players.

Ben Murdoch-Massilla was class in the second half too!

Highlights on this afto 13:30 on BBC 1, hopefully it gets plenty of airtime - I didn't see it, far too early for me on a Saturday morning.

Will this one be on iplayer? I'm hoping to watch a re run of it later.
